The one good thing about this pandemic is that it gives us all a chance to really look at ourselves. Not just physically, but spiritually, emotionally, etc. For too many people this need to really survey who they are can lead to either a dark rollercoaster ride into their minds or a vision quest that might lead to a personal change like nothing before.

This is another accidentally created album, but with a set purpose: to let go of concept albums, and to just write songs. As a result, there is a loose concept, but the concept is about learning to drop your guard some more, feel your emotions and survey your insecurities, and to hop over the humps of it all. It's about bouncing back after feeling like life is not taking the desired turn or at least finding the motivation to keep on going and to break out of habits that might ruin things going forward, such as general distrust in people and a small aversion to writing about your low moments.

It may seem both cliché and idealistic to say that I hope this album helps you out on your journey and makes you feel connected, but it doesn't make things any less true. All the best to you. Here is The Bounceback Kid.
