This song was written after hearing stories about old Boston venues being closed down to instead build apartments and build other monuments, and stories of Boston acts needing to go outside of the state to find musical success, leading us to think that without a steady industry or Ruby Yacht/anticon-like commune, Boston will slowly lose out on really cultivating the musical community it has been building for years on end now. But it's not over. One day, it will grow into something bigger. Nobody is giving up.
