Following along the previous track's theme of comfort, one of the things about having Asperger's is that we tend to be interested in routine. Whatever we did yesterday, we are happy to do today. We don't mind any minor changes like diets or buildings. It's the BIG changes that throw us for a loop. Once we either have to move out of our house, get a new job or any of that stuff, we fee overwhelmed because we are so used to and comfort with our old life. It's all we know and starting all over again can trigger an anxiety like you wouldn't believe.

So, getting too comfortable is something we have to learn to try not to do.
